Hotel – 1st Night

So I booked a hotel for Monday thru Thursday night. Choices were extremely limited, not sure if it’s due to the home football game this weekend or what, even though we aren’t staying thru the weekend…  So we have a pretty standard room with a fridge and microwave.

I want to go home. I don’t even care about the wasted hotel money. Nora didn’t go to sleep until after 10 last night and she woke every time I got up to pump during the night. It was awful. And she SCREAMS if I’m not holding her. This is all the freaking time! Is it because we are in a strange place? And it sucks trying to feed a one year old, who is picky to start with, in a hotel with just a microwave. And we don’t mind going out for every meal, but that’s hard with a toddler too. And I assume naps won’t happen.

The point was to see more of Nadia, but I don’t see that happening. This is just causing me way more stress and anxiety than I had before…

  1. I know this all too well. We have not had good luck in hotel rooms with Mackenzie. She’s used to sleeping in her own quiet room and hotels throw her off. We tried to go to Omaha for one night and drove home at 1 am because she wouldn’t sleep. She did ok most nights in CA but we tried to put her pack and play away from us as far as possible and that wasn’t always easy. Sorry you’re having to deal with this. I don’t blame you for wanting to go home.
